History

Occient was founded in 2001 by IMD MBAs in Beijing, China in order to provide business development services to the increasing number of small and medium size companies considering or entering the China market.

While China joined the WTO and became a more accessible and efficient market, Occient has assisted numerous companies in entering the Chinese market and doing business.

In 2002 Occient established its first European office in Barcelona, Spain.
